Our follow up visit to the Hematologist visit was very uneventful (whoo-hoo). Lori's White Blood Cell count went up a bit more. It's still below the "safe" range but getting better. It is almost back in the proper range to start chemotherapy again.
Lori's spleen was normal size and no abnormal proteins were found in her blood or her urine.
The total protein count in her urine was up a bit from last time. 2 months ago it was 3900 - this time it was 4300. Not a dramatic change really, especially when you consider she has not had her chemo to treat it in a couple of months. Makes you wonder if the chemo is doing anything at all for the Nephritis.
We go for our next (hopefully last) follow up visit with the Hematologist in two weeks. We will probably be going to Atlanta to see Dr Tumlin shortly after that.
Lori is still in a lot of pain. All of her joints are really hurting. One of the tests the Hematologist did was an RF test (Rheumatoid Factor). This is to test her Rheumatoid Arthritis to see how active it is. It was in the "non-active" range.
I guess the pain is from something else. Who knows what.
