It's about 9:30 pm. Lori's migraine seems to have dissipated. She missed the few kids we had Trick-or-Treating. Bought her a tweety Halloween shirt to wear when she passed out the candy too. Oh well . . maybe next year.
Think I'm gonna call it quits for working today.
Hopefully Lori will sleep good and wake up ready for another day.

Terrible Day
Dropped Lori off at 8:00 - picked her up at 11:00. She has 0 energy and a killer migraine. Made the family room as dark as I could while she changed into her PJs. Heard her throwing up :( while she was upstairs. Got her a piece of dry toast, some Gatorade, and water. Hopefully she will sleep for a while.
The good news . . .
Her new boss was at work today. She sat down with Lori and told her to do whatever it takes to keep going. She said she would rather have Lori at work for a few hours a day than not at all. Seems to be very understanding. Will have to wait and see if that is true a month from now.

Lori and I have been trying to get a journal of her day to day activities, how she's doing, etc. Maybe this will be it. For those of you who know of Lori's condition you will be able to keep up with her progress here.

Last Monday Lori went back to work after her 10 week short term leave. She did GREAT for the 1st 2 days. Lots of "hugs", "we really missed you", "so glad your back", "it wasn't the same without you", etc. Kept her adrenaline (sp?) going.
By Wednesday she started to get pretty tired. We (Jim and I) picked her up at work around 1:00. She was able to sit in the back of the car with her feet up while we drove around the area. Crashed hard when we got home.
Thursday she made it through her managers meeting. I picked her up around 3:00. Slept for a couple of hours - ate - watched TV for an hour or so - and went to bed.
She was off Friday. She got up with Mike (6:00 a.m.) straightened up the kitchen and made coffee. Slept on the couch for a couple hours. Then woke up and went to the drug store and the bank. She spent the rest of the day on the couch. Sleeping . . . watching TV . . . sleeping. She got sick that night (threw up 2x's) - not quite sure why.
Saturday was definitely a sleep day. I think she slept for 18 of the 24 hours in the day.
Today - Sunday - she said she wasn't feel well at all. Took her to work at 8:00. Will report later to see just how she did.
